Site Policies

v    Help us preserve the past for future generations. Please be courteous and careful of what you touch. If an object is destroyed, it is lost forever. The past cannot be replaced.

v    To protect our exhibits, no writing materials, food, drinks, gum, smoking or flash photography are allowed in the Interpretive Center.

v    Unruly groups or persons will be asked to leave.

v    Group leaders and adults are responsible for and must stay with their group at all times.

v    When outdoors, stay on the paths and stairs. Do not climb the slopes of any mounds as this causes erosion and destroys information about the past. Use only the stairway to climb Monks Mound.
